Meet the representative in the reception area of the hotel for your transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport. Transfer time is approximately 45 minutes. Depart on a scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls Airport. Flying time is approximately two hours. Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, please clear customs and immigrations and collect your luggage. Proceed to the Arrival Hall where you are met by a representative and transferred to Ilala Lodge. Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes.
Ilala Lodge offers distinguished yet affordable accommodation in a gracious and secluded ambiance. The decor evokes a bygone era of adventure and the quest of discovery in Africa.
The hotel is ideally situated and is the closest to the Victoria Falls as well as the town center. The National Park borders the front of the property and wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns with the spray of the falls in the background. Later this afternoon, you will enjoy a sundowner river cruise on the Zambezi River. Local beverages and snacks will be served.
Return to the hotel with your evening at leisure.

Depart from your hotel for a guided Tour of the Victoria Falls. Your tour will take place on the Zimbabwean side of the Falls.
Described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800's as 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' - 'the Smoke that Thunders' and in more modern terms as 'the greatest known curtain of falling water', Victoria Falls are a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe.
A tour of the Victoria Falls affords not only a view of one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World but information about their creation and geology, the unique eco-system of the rainforest, daring exploits of colonial explorers and magical tales of local legend under the constant spray from the 'The Smoke that Thunders'. Your Tour Guide will ensure the best photographic.
Return to the hotel for the remainder of your day at Leisure.

• Chobe Chilwero excludes: International and domestic flights, landing fees, and road transfers to and from other camps and lodges, travel insurance, boutique purchases, gratuities and all other items of a personal nature.
